Activating Learning

Planning Future Programs

This website is not a community. It is a place where we can share some of the stories we have collected combined with some of the learnings that reflect back the knowledge and experience of our partners. As the BIPOC Arts Network and Fund builds on the connections, experiences, and collaborations that have woven our Greater Houston arts community together over generations, we feel the responsibility to share this learning so that others can take this work forward.  We believe that the work that builds from these ideas, refines the processes, or transmutes this knowledge into new actions is part of the creative and generative process that Houston has nurtured.

BANF is planning future programs to activate some of this learning. Please sign up for our newsletter or watch our socials for news of upcoming programs and activations.

This page will be an archive of those public programs or creative responses.

Arts Education Landscape Exploration
Data Report Presentation & Panel

We are excited to share the data report and community learnings from BANF's Arts Education Landscape Exploration Project. This is the initial phase of our multi-phase initiative that explores opportunities and barriers that BIPOC-led arts organizations have faced in providing arts education programming to K-12 audiences in Houston.
